World-leading market research company is looking for high-calibre graduates for its 2015 graduate programme
Joining salary of £21,500 + £1000 joining bonus
We’re looking for ambitious graduates with a strong sense of curiosity, a clarity of thinking that gets to the heart of issues and the confidence and presence to share their point of view.
We’re offering a fast-paced training and development programme in an energetic company that always looks to the future. We want to find our business leaders of tomorrow – people who can combine a passion for market information and knowledge with a desire to influence and take action.
TNS advises clients on specific growth strategies around new market entry, innovation, brand switching and stakeholder management, based on long-established expertise and market-leading solutions. With a presence in over 80 countries, TNS has more conversations with the world’s consumers than anyone else and understands individual human behaviours and attitudes across every cultural, economic and political region of the world.
What the TNS graduate scheme can give you
Our scheme enables you to develop a breadth of research and business skills via a wide-ranging training plan. It is carefully designed to provide a platform for your future career in business – not only developing research expertise (and supporting you through the professional qualifications) but also building your commercial acumen, communication and project management skills. You get an opportunity to showcase your individual progress in quarterly grad assignments and be coached by our leading experts.
Previous graduates have gone on to work in our offices throughout the world, to run specialist practice areas, to manage global accounts and to influence strategy on the board.
Development – if your passion for research lies in getting to the heart of a client’s business issue, in presenting recommendations for action and in winning business for TNS either in the commercial or public sector then this is the group for you.
What are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will possess a 2.1 or above, at least 300 UCAS points and GCSE, or equivalent, Maths & English at a minimum grade B. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
For all roles you need to be numerate, with the ability to analyse problems constructively, think clearly under pressure and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
Working as part of a team, having the confidence to use your initiative and combining an eye for detail with the ability to see the whole picture are skills which we require: but most of all we need graduates with their wits about them.
We welcome your application for our April and October 2015 intakes.
