TMT- Research Manager – Eastern Europe – Wroclaw

Detailed Description
Responsibility for Research unit:
  • Define strategic priorities for the EMEA Research unit based on client demand and the TMT Practice’s priorities
  • Drive innovation (e.g., processes and deliverables like assets, IT solutions) and apply best practices in line with the companies and the sector’s priorities to improve the client service 
Operations and administration:
  • Monitor team and individual performances and workflow for operational performance benchmarks and normalization of the global team
  • Develop and monitor budget for EMEA region, modify as needed and monitor targets throughout the year
  • Participation in special initiatives on an as needed basis
Professional development:
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategy to ensure that team is properly prepared for client projects
  • Work with team leaders to orchestrate/deliver new hire introduction training for all newly joining team members
  • Design and deliver on going learning sessions for team members and manage training budget
  • Support team members in developing and successfully achieving their professional development plans, including identifying and fulfilling need-based trainings and support on individual basis
  • Promote an environment of continuous learning via on-the-job coaching and adhoc developmental feedback
Desired Skills
  • Professional experience in manager/ team leader role (3-5 years)
  • Excellent management skills and sound business judgment
  • Display comfort working with a virtual and culturally diverse team; build strong relationships with virtual leadership group
  • Self-starter with a high energy level and a deep commitment to the mission of developing people
  • Knowledge of or interest in the telecommunication, media and technology industry is preferred
  • Strong communication skills – both written and oral – and Excel/Powerpoint skills
  • Excellent English skills (written and oral)
