We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our Global Project Services team, which sits within a vibrant Operations department, which delivered over 1,000 projects across all methodologies in 2014. This role will primarily be managing the implemention of one of GfK’s largest and most prestigious research studies as it undergoes major changes and increases its international coverage. The role offers clear career pathways for talented and ambitious individuals.
The Senior Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the pricing, budget management and delivery of this large scale, complex project covering a number of methodologies – CATI, CAPI , CAWI and over 150 markets
Key tasks & responsibilities:
The Senior Project Managers’ responsibilities include:
  • Operation lead project lead for this flagship international study
  • Develop, manage and maintain relationships with the executives within the Industry/Product research teams
  • Co-ordinate and enable the team within Operations to successfully delivery this project on time and adhering to Industry/Product research teams’ specification
  • Manage the financial performance of this complex international study with continued focus on identifying areas for future efficiencies
Requirements
Technical skills:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of implementing various research methodologies (CATI, CAPI , CAWI)
  • Expertise in providing and implementing effective solutions to various research methodologies
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Client focused attitude – ability to actively manage and maintain strong relationships with colleagues in the Product (Research) teams
  • Well-developed decision making and priority setting
  • Commercially focused – with an understanding of pricing

  • Working effectively and efficiently with energy and drive
 Typical education and work experience:
  • Graduate level degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience in Market Research Project / Field Management – preferably with expertise in either CATI or CAPI
