Senior Product Manager or Product Director MOI (Team Lead MOI Health), 100%

Purpose of Role
In our new subregional health organization we are looking for a highly engaged and experienced team lead to manage the Swiss MOI health team and support the regional MOI business for our health clients. In this role you have a functional reporting line to the Subregional MOI Health Lead in Germany and you serve your local/ global clients and are working closely aligned with the MOI Health team in Germany.
  • Management of a team of 6 employees dedicated to Market Opportunities and Innovation topics and projects responsibility for subregional team and team revenue, contribution margin and sufficient team utilization
  • consults a portfolio of clients regarding their business questions related to identifying market opportunities and the innovation  process
  •  Manages multiple projects from proposal stage to final delivery, including creation of  impactful insights
  • Focuses on client facing activities in close cooperation with Industry colleagues ensuring smooth and effective cooperation with (local) Ops/GPS
  • Proactive support of MOI projects beyond Health industry (e.g. proposal improvement)
  • responsible for ensuring that all products and services are delivered on-time, on-budget, and in accordance to quality standards
  • regular alignment with MOI Lead and MOI Health Lead in Nuremberg
  • close collaboration with Industry lead and staff to ensure excellent client service
Key Individual Accountabilities
  • management of senior staff: including staff management, resource allocation, project oversight, performance management, developing, training
  • supporting budget process for subregional MOI Health business in Basel, aligning with Industry colleagues, responsibility for revenue and contribution margin, including utilization
  • proposal development and competitive pricing of market research projects 
  • responsible for development of research designs in the context of the MOI philosophy, tools and products (on basis of standards defined of the global products)
  • defines the value pricing of a client solution, evaluate project costs, and creates calculations and cost sheets (according to GfK guidelines)
  • delivers excellence in project execution  while keeping the costs under control; Informs KAM, on status and issues
  • manages project team, monitors study performance in terms of schedule, quality, costs
  • writing or reviewing client research reports, creating impactful reports and executive summaries  final deliverables that answer key client business issues
  • communicates regularly with mid-level and top-clients on  a day to day basis supports cross-selling between product groups and third dimensions (e.g. Ux, DMI) in alignment with industry
  • Typically 8+ years of work experience, ideally at least three years thereof in Health
  • Practical experience in project management with  major health clients
  • Expert knowledge in CE research related to MOI
  • Ideally demonstrates wide range of experiences in more than one sector of the market research industry
  • Technical knowledge and mastery of cutting-edge methods and tools; profound statistical competence and understanding
  • Deep knowledge around Market Understanding, Market Opportunities and Market Impact, including innovation research Excellent communication as well as presentation and consulting (strategic) skills
  • Expert in Global research
  • Leadership experience
  • At ease in working in an international environment
  • Excellent team working and motivational skills; Hands-on, self-starter
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (at least level B2 in Council of Europe scale)
  • Ability to travel
