Job Description:
Frost & Sullivan is currently seeking a Senior Consultant within the North American business practice of our Measurement & Instrumentation Business Unit. This position calls for a thought leader in the industry and requires contributions to the focus and content of our syndicated research, growth consulting fulfillment, and capacity to serve as an expert and advisor to our clients. Additionally, this role will also include consultative sales responsibilities with a target to be defined.  The Measurement & Instrumentation team focuses on Test & Measurement, Sensors & Instrumentation, Semiconductors, Biometrics and RFID as well as other similar industry segments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the development and delivery of the growth consulting component of the business plans in terms of revenue and project execution through; driving team membership goals, personally developing and closing new business, managing the delivery of consulting engagements, and functioning as an industry thought-leader in presenting Frost & Sullivan capabilities and market knowledge to clients.
Responsibilities:
  • Consistently achieve on target performance, by developing/maintaining industry specific client relationships, managing the delivery of client focused consulting engagements; translating client strategic intent into a Frost & Sullivan solution
  • Facilitate workshops for the team as well as a resource for business units for our growth workshop and other solutions
  • Provide client organizations with business consulting expertise, while sharing knowledge and best practice across the various Frost & Sullivan business units
  • Utilize commercial awareness for nurturing business relationships and gaining a deeper understanding of client’s needs
  • Personally generate revenue by conducting detailed business needs analysis, interpret data, and present initiatives to senior strategic-level management and closing sales
  • Work/time allocation will be a mix of business development/sales, and research and consulting (including workshops, working with team members, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in business or science related discipline
  • Master’s degree or MBA is preferable
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a B2B sales environment with knowledge of business consulting
  • Skilled in conducting formal presentations and workshops to C-level executives
  • Skilled in proposal writing and the pricing of consulting projects
  • A comprehensive knowledge of global economies and demographics in order to identify key business opportunities
