Regional TER Programme Manager TNS



Role will support the regional TER Leader in the overall management and implementation of TER across the region:
  • Work very closely with rest of regional TER Community in the prioritisation of TER offers per market and the execution of ‘proof of concept’ tests to determine the in-market viability of new TER approaches
  • Work very closely with the rest of the regional TER Community to ensure access to the relevant suppliers and data sources to deliver TER, with specific support at proposal development stage
  • Source, develop and deliver best practice training covering the core TER concepts, principles and latest offers which must be understood to properly run projects
  • Work effectively with others in the business (e.g. practice area leads, operations) to ensure that the right things are in place to support the development and roll out of new solutions across the region
  • Liaise with the network of global TER experts to share knowledge, experience and best practice (including what does not work)
  • Keep abreast of emerging data suppliers and technologies / methodologies relevant to TER, including conference opportunities
  • Potential to be involved in developing ‘thought leadership’ pieces for the region (to be shared via the press or at conference)
  • Will be based in Cape Town. May occasionally require travel regionally, although a lot of the training can be delivered via webinars
  • Regional TER programme development and implementation will often be in close collaboration with sub-regional and in-market TER leaders and local research teams across the region
  • Primary interactions with the regional and global TER community, regional practice area leads, regional operations, and regional client and offer leads

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to keep stakeholders informed and engaged on progress
  • Creativity: The ability to solve problems, look for opportunities, and visualise success
  • Tenacity: The ability to  manage detail, conquer challenges, and still retain an overview of the high level objectives
  • Passion and enthusiasm: The ability to engage, motivate and inspire others to follow the TER (e.g. sharing success stories)
  • Empathy: Show empathy and respect for cultural differences in the business environment, respect values and diversity
  • Leadership: Inspire and lead others to drive changes, achieve results and surpass goals within the context of TER, and specifically the regional TER community
  • Clarity of thought: Ability to absorb new concepts, and develop a fair understanding of the ”nuts and bolts” of current and new TER based solutions
  • Research understanding: A very deep understanding of the research TNS does to be able to identify where TER will add value and where to prioritise efforts
  • Commercial acumen: A fair commercial understanding that will support an approach to TER that is based on sound processes that reflect financial disciplines and efficiencies
