Detailed Description
McKinsey Implementation is the newest initiative of McKinsey in its Operations consulting portfolio. It is specifically designed to help clients put improvement strategies into practice throughout their organizations.
With the McKinsey Implementation operating model, we support client senior leaders and line managers through long-term coaching and capability building. It ensures that our tailored programs not only quickly deliver results, but are also “built to last.”
At the client site, as McKinsey Implementation consultants, we are typically responsible for the entire implementation project; including detailed planning, project management, running the program office, coaching and training employees and managers. We apply our core skills in delivering the business transformation and building client management capability in different areas and industry sectors.
We are now looking for Implementation consultants to support our Oil & Gas Practice which serves leading international and national oil companies, oilfield services and equipment providers, and private-equity investors across the entire oil and gas value chain.

Desired Skills
Our Implementation consultants for our Oil & Gas Industry sector typically have the following qualifications: 
  • Master degree in an analytical orientation (e.g., Engineering, Business Management) with strong academic track record
  • At least 3-10 years of professional industry and line management experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Large-scale project/program management experience with a proven track record of impact generation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Track record as a true coach and capability builder
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills 
  • Great sense of initiative, drive and creativity, able to deliver standalone and in team setting
  • Confident, enthusiastic, persuasive and resilient
  • Fluent in English (and local language skills)
  • Willingness to travel if required
