 Overview
McKinsey & Company’s Mexico Research & Analytics team is seeking a full-time Consumer Research Analyst (“RA”) or Senior Research Analyst (“SRA”). This research position will be based in Mexico City
Detailed Description
  • The RA/SRA provides high-quality problem solving and analysis for McKinsey consultants, contributes to expanding the Research & Analytics team’s capabilities, and participates in training and knowledge sharing
  • The analyst will work in a fast-paced team environment combining business and industry intelligence to solve a variety of business problems. The analyst will often engage independently with clients and consultants by devising analytical methodologies and innovative approaches towards solving clients’ most relevant business questions and being responsible for executing such analysis. The analyst will then clearly and constructively communicate such findings to consultants and clients
  • Through a strong learning orientation, the analyst is expected to develop/contribute to a broad knowledge base on the analytic methods and techniques, as well as relevant data and information sources, used in business analysis.  Working on projects and exchanging experiences with your colleagues means you will face new intellectual challenges on a daily basis, while continuously building your methodological knowledge and skills.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A graduate degree in a field such as business, economics, analytics, etc.
  • An undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, or another relevant field accompanied by demonstrable analysis abilities
  • Outstanding collegiate academic record with superior problem-solving and analytical capabilities; solid understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts
  • Experience or knowledge of the consumer packaged goods and/or retail sectors in Mexico or Latin America
  • Understanding of business and/or consumer analytics
  • Strong interpersonal and analytic skills
  • Strong communications skills – both oral and written
