McKinsey Solutions – Periscope Consumer Sector General Manager – New York

Detailed Description
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Periscope Head of Client Service, as the Periscope Sector General Manager you will directly manage our Periscope client relationships, and in coordination with our colleagues in our Client Service Teams (CSTs), the delivery and ongoing service for Periscope solutions.  You will also coordinate the delivery, launch and execution of our advanced analytic insights and coordinate data management for implementation and ongoing support.
  • Manage client relationships and client service
  • Drive delivery of advanced analytic insights and execution of consumer marketing and retention campaigns
  • Work closely with client executives, traditional McKinsey client service teams, and business, product and analytic leadership and teams
  • Support client development at new and existing clients
Desired Skills
The candidate should typically have:
  • A minimum of four years of experience with client delivery and client management ideally within a consulting organization
  • Ideally knowledge of commercial performance or revenue management
  • Relationship Management: Able to manage clients up and down throughout client organization
  • Process Understanding:  Knowledge of key client service processes – data management, solution support, training
  • Project and Program Management:  Outstanding project management skills
  • Understanding of solution applications and key competitors by function and sector
  • An undergraduate degree with an excellent academic record.  Graduate degree a plus
  • Fluency in English.  Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese would be a major plus
  • Willingness to travel average 50 – 60%, full time for some projects
