McKinsey Solutions is a new suite of services that combines 85 years of McKinsey industry and functional expertise with data, proprietary analytics, and software tools to help organizations get greater clarity in decision making and gain significant long-term performance improvement. Solutions are complementary to McKinsey consulting and offer a variety of support models to ensure our clients get exactly what they need. We work closely with client organizations to embed the tools and build their capabilities to sustain impact over time.
 McKinsey Solutions is a fast-growing office within McKinsey. Having developed and deployed some 15 solutions to more than 400 companies over the last 5 years, this dynamic team has continued to double its size every year, and now numbers more than 500 full-time professionals.
Analyst, India:
The Analyst will be a part of MAHA Actuarial team and will actively work on:
  • Extraction and analysis of healthcare regulatory data
  • Developing understanding of product features, pricing assumptions, provider networks and rate filings in US healthcare domain
  • Developing and maintenance of healthcare data assets
  • Assisting team members in developing actuarial models and analysis for various line of businesses and customer segments
  • Helping senior team members in problem solving and providing insights and value additions
Desired Skills
Requirements:
  • Fresher/0-1 years of work experience in actuarial domain (preferably health insurance)
  • At least 2-4 actuarial exams, preferably CT4, CT5 and CT6
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use any statistical software packages such as SAS, SPSS, VBA, R and database software packages such as SQL will be an advantage
  • Ability to actively contribute in the team, with various backgrounds, in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced environment.
