HSS – Healthcare Analytics Analyst – EEMA – Wroclaw



The Healthcare Systems & Services practice (HSS) creates new solutions to challenges facing healthcare organizations. To strengthen our team we are looking for Analyst – Healthcare Analytics.
Detailed Description
The  Analyst will perform the following roles:
  • Identify, gather, and quality assure the data required to underpin analysis of hospital performance
  • Monitor data acquired from clients, providing feedback to team to help improve data accuracy and timeliness
  • Design and perform analyses based on proprietary analytical tools and databases which practice will build and maintain over time
  • Support teams with the development and maintenance of tools and refinement of existing products and services
  • Coding and scripting (VBA, SAS, SQL) for data management and transformation
  • Develop statistical models to measure hospital performance
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports from SAS/SQL server
  • Be responsible for the end-to-end execution of projects (i.e., hospital diagnostics, benchmarking, tool development, knowledge transfer
  • Provide hands-on experience in data analytics; be a go-to person for any query resolution
Desired Skills
  • Masters degree in a quantitative field (computer science, engineering, math, statistics, econometrics, etc.) from a reputed university
  • Outstanding communication skills in English
  • Good understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminologies
  • Superior problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Experience with working with large databases
  • Coding/development abilities (VBA, SQL, etc.)
  • Expertise in  Microsoft SSIS will be an asset
  • Statistical programming software experience in SAS or equivalent, and knowledge of BI tools (i.e., Tableau) will be an asset
  • Excellent time management skills (on time, within estimated workload, according to scope, and with flexibility when required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills (assertiveness, not afraid to challenge constructively, fast learner, client-oriented, respect of commitments, etc.)
  • Creativity and action-oriented mindset
