Role Mission
To support the growth of Shopper through offer development, training and client engagement.
Scope of the Role:
Lead priority offer development projects with the Shopper practice at TNS, with guidance from Global Director, Shopper, ensuring projects align with TER and Integrated Marketing objectives
  • Manage R&D projects, both internal and in collaboration with clients, to ensure we achieve proof of concept for our offer development objectives
  • Help develop key materials to support our offer including credentials, how to guide, project management materials, marketing materials and case studies
  • Contribute to discussions on overall shopper offer framework and priorities

Work closely with shopper hubs to help build capabilities and consult on strategically important projects

  • As part of the Global team, you will support global hubs in ensuring that shopper projects are executed smoothly and deliver valuable insight and action for our clients
  • This support will be ‘light touch’ but will be focused on key parts of projects. You will be expected to get more hands-on with a limited number of strategically important project
  • You will consult both on research design and on how to best meet client objectives

Support the development of Hub processes involved in project management, automated report and databasing of results

  • Support a designated Global Account Director in delivering the shopper offer, with guidance from Head of Global Shopper
  • Work with GAD to align client objectives with shopper offer
  • Support big pitches in delivering to client objectives
  • Help to deliver strategically important pilot projects 

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Strong research skills
  • Shopper insight knowledge useful but not essential
  • Offer development experience useful, along with ability to integrate quant, qual and online research approaches
  • Interest in technology enabled research
  • Good communication skills and some commercial knowhow
  • Influencing skills and ability to effectively work across a matrix
