The role of Data Administrator is a key role within our VetTrak production and support team, processing daily and monthly sales information to a high level of accuracy within an effective and established data processing routine.   Attention to detail and accuracy are a pre-requisite for this role as errors in processing will affect both the data quality and delivery timescales to our clients.
Responsibilities
  • Monthly/daily data processing of product data for UK and ROI – including product classification, correct allocation of new data to existing codes, addition of new product codes as required
  • Use of internet to search for product information/attributes, practice address and postcodes
  • Database maintenance – including checking of error reports, data cleansing, product price changes
  • Production of monthly client reports using Excel & Power point
  • Relationship building with clients and key contacts within the veterinary corporate and buying groups
  • Set-up and maintenance of client contact database
  • Telephone support to clients, dealing with client queries where possible or ensuring queries are passed to relevant team member for resolution
  • Admin support for team as required, booking flights, hotel accommodation, etc
  • Printing of training materials and other relevant documentation for client meetings
  • Monthly checking of client databases and data CDs before dispatch
  • Set up and maintenance of client imap licence details and training records
  • Filing of client communications, monthly journals, ensuring all current journal subscriptions are up to date
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a demanding and busy administration role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • ​Excellent telephone manner
  • Good knowledge of IT applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Client relations Monitoring databases
