What to expect?
A consulting internship at Frost & Sullivan is ideal for top-performing undergraduate students (typically between their third and fourth year) and for Master/MBA candidates considering a career in management consulting after graduation. Consulting interns are generally responsible for: data gathering and analysis; industry research; interviewing key clients, customers, and suppliers and presenting their findings to the team. In this role, you will be exposed to a variety of business issues and will quickly learn the key tools of Frost & Sullivan’s market analysis methodology.
Key learnings at Frost & Sullivan
Interns will contribute to local and international consulting projects. They will receive an in-depth training on critical skills of effective consultants and a continuous hands-on learning through full-time immersion on a Frost & Sullivan project. They will gain a thorough understanding of a particular Frost & Sullivan client – its industry, its operations and associated business challenges. Each intern will be paired with a consultant on the case team who provides supervision, guidance and coaching throughout the placement as well as formal feedback at the mid-point and conclusion of the internship period.
What we are looking for
- Currently enrolled students of business/economics/informatics/engineering or a related field
- Ability to demonstrate structured thought process and problem solving skills
- Disciplined approach to time and schedule management
- Good interpersonal, communication and organizing skills
- Professional working proficiency in English and German
- Adept at using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Financial/statistical modelling skills are a plus
What comes next?
At the end of their placement, interns who have met performance expectations will be fast-tracked as candidates for a full-time position as consultant once they have graduated from college or university.
