What to expect?
A business development internship at Frost & Sullivan is ideal for top-performing undergraduate students (typically between their third and fourth year) and for Master/MBA candidates considering a career in sales after graduation. Business development interns are generally responsible for: customer relationship management; pre-selection and acquisition of new clients; preparation of business proposals; gathering of information and presentations; representing Frost & Sullivan at trade shows and conferences. In this role, you will be exposed to a variety of business issues and quickly learn the key tools of Frost & Sullivan’s business development process.
Key learning at Frost & Sullivan
Interns will contribute to local and international client accounts. They will receive an in-depth training in the critical skills of effective business development and continuous hands-on learning through full-time immersion in a Frost & Sullivan sales team. They will gain a thorough understanding of a particular Frost & Sullivan client – its industry, its operations and associated business challenges. Each intern will be paired with an account manager who provides supervision, guidance and coaching throughout the placement as well as formal feedback at the mid-point and conclusion of the internship period.
What we are looking for
  • Currently enrolled  students of business/economics/sales & marketing/engineering or a related field
  • Ability to demonstrate structured thought process and problem solving skills
  • Disciplined approach to time and schedule management
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organizing skills
  • Professional working proficiency in English and German
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Previous sales experience is a plus

What comes next?
At the end of their placement, interns who have met performance expectations will be fast-tracked as candidates for a full-time position as account executive once they have graduated from college or university.
