The purpose of the role:

Has considerable responsibility for client servicing for a leading Global beverage company on both ad hoc and continuous work, as well as people management and project commercial management.

 Ensuring existing client relationships are maintained to the highest level both on a strategic and day to day level on ad hoc projects as well as a major brand equity study

  • Providing strategic insight to help solve Client problems
  • Some direct line reports – management of the team members, providing leadership and guidance
  • Aiding career progression through training, ongoing support and performance evaluation
  • Being accountable for the line reports, process and deliverables
  • Being responsible for commercial management of ad hoc projects

Helping to identify and pursue potential business

the sucecssful candidate shall be providing strategic insight to help solve client problems,

  • Integration of advanced knowledge and understanding of principles, practices and standards across wide range of activities
  • Client servicing, developing and managing client relationships to the highest standard
  • Developing and reviewing research materials (questionnaires, discussion guides, observation checklists)
  • Creating research reports / presentations and reviewing those prepared by research teams
  • Ensure analysis answers business questions and adds value
  • Using inspiring design to ensure presentations tell an engaging story
  • Leading the presentation of research findings to clients
  • Responsible for problem solving for non-routine, complex problems using integration of knowledge and expertise
  • Monitoring and managing internal relationships (within and across the business)
  • Building relationships internally to ensure team work is seamless across country boundaries
  • Preparing and reviewing RFQs and research proposals
  • Clear work prioritization for team on an ongoing basis
  • Recommendations resource allocation, work processes and standards for team with strong guidance from senior management
  • Proactively manages performance review process for team
  • Coaches team to have a greater impact on individual goals
  • Identifying internal training needs
  • Where appropriate, identifying opportunities and strategy for new business development
  • Being responsible for the commercial management of projects


  • Minimum of a 2:1bachelors degree from a respected University (Psychology, Economics, Business Studies backgrounds preferable)

Knowledge and skills:

  • A good understanding of FMCG or related marketing strategy

•     Significant experience within brand and communications

  • Experience with brand health tracking studies

•     Strong at designing, leading and delivering research projects from start to finish without senior support

•     Used to managing multiple research projects under pressure to the highest standard

•     Extensive experience with writing presentations / building story – excellent writing skills

•     Used to delivering presentations to a Senior audience

•     High achiever

•     Leadership qualities

•     Excellent project management and priority-setting

•     Ability to delegate

•     Meticulous / attention to detail

•     Excellent Quantitative research and analytical skills – at ease with data interpretation / manipulation

•     Excellent interpersonal skills
