Marketing Sciences (MSC) is a specialised unit within TNS which provides support, consultancy and specialist knowledge on quantitative research methods and analysis techniques. MSC work is spread across survey structured data analytics, data fusion of survey and other data sources like transactional data and social media / digital unstructured data analytics. MSC is responsible for developing custom solutions utilising a wide range of multivariate techniques, including various types of modelling as well as more specialised market research techniques such as segmentation, market strategy, brand experience and pricing. MSC also has a key role in solution / product development especially in the area of social / digital unstructured data. MSC team contributes actively towards thought leadership within TNS UK and on industry platforms.
To assist in the design of research studies and to analyse and interpret the output, recommend appropriate analysis techniques and explain them clearly to researchers and clients. Provide input to sales proposals and participate in client presentations and workshops when required. The work would cover both survey structured data analytics as well as unstructured digital / social media data.

In line with the objective of raising the industry profile of TNS Marketing Sciences a willingness to write papers for publication and/or presentation would be a distinct advantage.
