Looking for highly motivated Account Manager for our Telecoms team who can develop our client base ensuring best levels of service.  You will bring in consultative sales styles that compliments strong loyalty we have with our clients today.
You are a product and market expert on a well-defined list of product categories in the Telecoms Industry and carries responsibility over the entire quality of the product categories looked after. You are integral to all aspects of the research process, from sales support through analysis and report writing. You are responsible for client management activities including identifying opportunities to broaden GfK’s penetration into the client’s business of leading blue chip telecom companies in the Middle East
Key responsibilities
  • Manages, forecasts and achieves the revenue budget for a set list of clients
  • Is responsible for defined clients within the Telecom Industry in the Middle East and to ensure global and local standards within area of responsibility
  • Handles business relationship issues for a set list of clients (timing, quality, price), contract management, new business opportunity
  • Manages small projects through all steps from inception to sale / delivery to client
  • Creates impactful reports with detailed and meaningful insights/commentary; presentation of data and insights internally and externally; analysis of data using a variety of tools
  • Responsible for client management activities in the country including identifying opportunities to broaden GfK’s penetration into the client’s business,
  • Revenue Generation – Responsible for identifying and developing business within the Region
  • Able to operate all internal data analytics systems and to give training to client on these systems
Requirements
We appeal to an independent and robust personality who can prioritize correctly and accurately as well is highly customer-oriented. You take responsibility, enjoy working in a dynamic environment and bring along:
  • An MBA with 5 years of experience with expert knowledge of Product Portfolio and Telecom Market
  • Experience in Project Management, Statistical and Analytical Skill
  • Fluent in English with very good MS office skills
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills
  • Expert in Retail Audit Methodology and on universe and sample
  • Basic in Fact Based Consultancy / Story Telling / Negotiation & Influencing
  • Basic managements skills (if appl.)
  • Basic knowledge in contract management / rate card theory
  • High energy and drive
  • Customer focus attitude
  • Enjoys learning new aspects of the role
  • Quality standards are key to this individual
  • Eye for detail
