The Media Sales Account Director is a newly created sales role specifically assigned to selling GfK MRI products to the TV/Video marketplace primarily in NYC but with some potential for travel.  This person will be the lead account representative for high profile electronic media accounts. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        The development of client presentations, proposals and contracts
·        Account management functions such as client database, tracking invoice payments, status reports etc.
·        Prospecting New Business Opportunities
·        Creative selling techniques should be utilized to challenge client/prospect roadblocks in overcoming impediments to success.

Requirements
Experience and Skills:
·        Very strong sales skills in order to communicate effectively with senior level decision-makers at the client and prospects
·        10-15 years of sales in the media space
·        Strong negotiation skills are essential in this role as our industry continues to rapidly evolve
·        Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for both dealing with clients and for dealing internally with other departments at GfK
·        Must have strong knowledge of all GfK MRI products and services to effectively sell our offerings
·        Working knowledge of standard MS Office products and become an expert in our internal systems. These include MEMRI, SmartSystem and the One CRM system
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
